Frequently asked questions
How does your guarantee work?
We are so confident in our roofing solution that we provide a 20 year transferable insurance backed guarantee on our roofing installations – if a problem occurs within 20 years and the problem is included within the policy then your new roof is covered. This type of policy is not dependant on our business still being in operation at the time of the claim as the insurance is provided by 3rd party underwriter. Full terms and conditions available on request. The products we use normally have their own manufacturers guarantees which are normally 20 years.
Do you offer any finance options?
We do not endorse or recommend any 3rd party finance companies.
However, as we take credit / debt card payments (subject to a processing fee) some customers finance their project through interest free credit cards over periods of 12 or 24 months, or whatever initial interest free period is available. If you take this route you may have various guarantees available under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 – you would need to check these details yourself and verify how they apply.
How can I pay?
Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer. Alternatively we can take cash if necessary. Cheques are permissible but you may need to wait for the cheque to clear before we start work if you are using a cheque to pay a deposit.
We can take payment by credit & debit card. Currently these are Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. Cards are subject to a 3% processing fee.
What are your payment terms?
Depending on the length and size of the contract we may request a deposit between 30% – 50% before work starts. The balance would be due after we complete the work.
Please note on larger or commercial contracts we have different payment terms – details on request.
How important are weather conditions?
Some types of our work require dry weather – particularly outdoor contracts such as a roofing work. Essential to a life long and quality roof installation made out of fibreglass is the correct application of the materials in the right conditions. Temperature and moisture play a part. Don’t worry, we will not start work unless we are happy that the weather has the right conditions or we’ll provide equipment allowing us to continue in poor weather.
Can I repair or extend a fibreglass flat roof?
Yes. Repairs are sometimes necessary due to accidental damage. Fortunately for you a fibreglass roof is easy to patch & repair to make a water tight and a seam / join free repair. Often we can blend in the repair so it isn’t noticeable.
Extending a fibreglass roof is simple and will never be a concern. We can bond the old extension with the new – again without seams and joins. We can do anything – just ask us.
